Paris Hilton’s hit MTV show apparently worked and found her a new best friend. According to the above photo new bff Brittnay Flickinger can party it up like the best of them as she downs a bottle of vodka with Paris and her sister Nicky. Will she end up in rehab like most Hollywood stars or is she just having fun clubbing with her new best friend and heiress Paris Hilton. Will this friendship last or will Paris end up searching once again for a new best friend? Most would say it’s crazy to try to find a best friend on a television show but I guess not. Hopefully Brittany won’t end up like Paris’ previous besties.

Paris chats it up with ET telling the host about her show before it aired saying:

“I was brought into it and I enjoy laughing at myself; I was showing people that I can do that,” she says. “I thought it would be fun. I shot it at my parents’ Hamptons house. Girls and two boys compete for the chance to be my new [best friend forever], explains Paris. I make up all the rules, and these kids are not gonna know what hit them.”

Sources say that Jett Travolta the son of John Travolta and Kelly Preston died recently at the tender age of sixteen. He apparently bumped his head while in the bathtub and that was what caused his death. Unfortunately his family was on vacation in the Bahamas at the time and discovered his lifeless body when they arrived home. However he was known to have seizures so there is an autopsy that is now pending.

“John spoke with the minister of health and the doctors and police are at the hospital. They’re very, very quick to resolve things,” Wilchcombe tells the AP.

The parliament member also added, “we expect a quick resolution.”

According to Taylor Swift who appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres show after dating Joe Jonas for several months he ended their relationship on the telephone. To be exact it was a twenty seven second break up phone call. After hearing Taylor’s side of the story Joe went to myspace to blog and set the record straight on what really happened. He claims that he wasn’t the one who broke up with her that somebody else did. Apparently Camille Belle had a part in their break up seeing as how he started to date her behind Taylor’s back.

On Joe Jonas’ blog he writes:

“I never cheated on a girlfriend. It might make someone feel better to assume or imply I have been unfaithful but it is simply not true. Maybe there were reasons for a breakup. Maybe the heart moved on. Perhaps feelings changed. I am truly saddened that anything would potentially cause you to think less of me. He then goes on to say that for those who have expressed concern over the twenty seven second phone call, I called to discuss feelings with the other person. Those feelings were obviously not well received. I did not end the conversation. Someone else did. Phone calls can only last as long as the person on the other end of the line is willing to talk. A phone call can be pretty short when
someone else ends the call. The only difference is this conversation was that I shared something the other person did not want to hear.”

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were recently spotted shopping in an adult entertainment store. I guess these teens aren’t as innocent as we all thought they were. Hopefully their fans won’t follow in their footsteps because they don’t seem to be setting a good example for them. I wonder how their parents feel about these photos.

Miley Cyrus recently received her learners permit. Her mother Tish handed over the keys to her Porsche Cayenne. Many fans are wondering if she will fall into the Hollywood trend of receiving a DUI or will she remain innocent. After Tish gave Miley her new set of wheels Miley also found out that she also picked up her first Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Song, “I Thought I Lost You,” from her movie Bolt. The 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast Jan. 11 from The Beverly Hilton at 8 p.m. on NBC.

Cyrus told PEOPLE that her dream sweet 16 birthday gift would be “a car, but we’ll see. I don’t want to name a certain kind. I want my parents to know that I’m happy with anything that they get me. I know I’d be really lucky to even get a car.”

Jessica Simpson, famous for her simple “misunderstandings” when she starred on her reality show with Lachey on MTV, would reportedly like to become a theology scholar and continue her love for religion.  Simpson has been inspired to explore her spiritual side after seeing a documentary on The Da Vinci Code.

“I’ve been contemplating taking a college course in religion. I love religion,” Simpson told Marie Claire magazine.

Simpson, who divorced 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey and is now dating American football player Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys.

Jessica Simpson isn’t the only actress looking to pursue a higher education degree, as Harry Potter actress Emma Watson is reportedly looking in to Universities as well.

Britney gave herself a birthday present — Freedom.  She was spotted clubbing and having a good time on her birthday.  Luckily, no ‘accident photos’ or ’shaved heads’ were involved.  Good for you Britney, and welcome back.

Sources are saying that Hilary Duff will be making her way back to TV, this time with NBC. Hilary Duff, as you may know (or not) starred in Disney’s Lizzie McGuire show, and has now reportedly signed a 1 year deal with NBC for her own TV series. Hilary will also be appearing in upcoming feature films “Safety Glass”, “Greta” and “Stay Cool” which are scheduled for release in 2009.

A source says “They are not public about it but they’ve just been haning out with their friends and Joe’s brothers. They are very private about it.” Not so private anymore, eh?

Last night, Lindsay Lohan partied it up in the DJ booth with Sam in a Las Vegas night club. Apparently, while Sam was distracted, a man stole the spot light with Lindsay and they both got their grind on. Check out the video at the link below.
